Line with error bars Part of PowerCharts XT
An error line chart is used to show the range of possible errors or deviations that might occur in the given data; it shows the extent of uncertainty in information relative to an average value. The chart is drawn using data points connected using line segments. Error values, both positive and negative, are shown using distinct I-shaped bars drawn on the data plots. Typically the I-bars represent the standard deviation in a measurement indicating the degree of variance observed in a data point. This chart is commonly used in areas such as appliance testing, human resource management, weather analysis, and so on.
