Radar with multiple series Part of PowerCharts XT
A radar chart (also known as a spider chart) is a visual interpretation of data bearing multiple dimensions. The chart can be used to plot a single dataset as well as multiple datasets for comparing data by correlating and contrasting entities against predefined values. The chart is visualized using a radial grid-like structure; the values of the different categories are rendered on the chart's axis. All axes are arranged radially, with equal distances between them, while maintaining the same scale between all axes. The radar chart can be used for applications like product comparison, business analysis, and so on.
Best Practices for Radar with Multiple Series :
- Set data plot transparency appropriately, to ensure that data isn't obscured in the background.
- Data sets should be small-to-moderate-sized. Effectiveness is limited to data sets with less than a few hundred points. After that, they tend to be overwhelming.
